Projection

Shooting since 2013

Four staff and a bench of about thirty

Small company, big crew list. Everybody on it has worked with us before.

A full camera kit laid out and counted

The company

Projection has been four people since 2016: a producer, a director, a DP and an editor. Everything else is crewed from a bench of about thirty freelancers we have worked with repeatedly and who get paid within fourteen days.

We publish day rates because the alternative is spending a first meeting working out what a client can afford. About a fifth of enquiries end with us saying the budget and the idea do not meet, which is a conversation better had on day one than in week six.

Two rounds of changes are in every quote, and a third has never been refused. It is not generosity; it is that a job needing a fourth round was mis-briefed and that is usually at least half our fault.
